Great Company
I love purchasing through MDG. Payments are affordable and customer service is great. I ordered a 75 in tv and it is spectacular. I’ve ordered a Bluetooth speaker also. Shipping is fast also. Will definitely order again.

Worse experience ever! Nothing goes well and everyone says something different
This company is beyond difficult to deal with. You have to talk with at least 4 different people to get something and your always waiting on someone in the process. Then, and I don't mean this in a ugly manner, you talk to people that do not command a strong use of English. So they say stuff that is incorrect or lost in translation. One person tells you something and when you speak to the next person in line it changes up. Very difficult process. Also they may require a deposit which is fine but they don't let you just pay it. You have to pay over a 2 or 3 month process before placing an order. You can't just pay them the deposit all at once. It's so easy to pay but they make it so difficult. it's very hard to just make a payment. Don't date switch banks because you throw their whole system out of sorts. I literally was told I have to keep my old bank account open for just this company so they could process my payments. I couldn't pay from my new bank or credit card. It so unbelievable I wouldn't believe it if I did live it. I really believe it was a scam so I'm closing my account and getting my money back before this goes real bad. Honestly don't know how they are in business. Do yourself a favor and go with an American company. I love the Canadians but they don't have very good customer relationship skills. I wish I would have read up on the reviews before I started. I'm not kidding, they have people assigned to you that are your helpers that barely speak English. I know I don't speak French so why bother. Just horrible

We realize that we are not perfect, and comments like the ones you provided are one of the most important ways we can improve our service. As a financing company, we have to take precautions when lending to potential customers, as this is different from financing in person. We require an active bank account (at least 2 months) with regular income. We ask each customer to make their first payment (down payment) before we ship, sometimes we ask for the additional down payment(s) instead of denying credit completely. This may be requested for a variety of reasons, such as if the supporting documents are incomplete or account information is missing. This is usually only requested for the first order, and new orders you place thereafter will not have to go through the same security steps. Terrible
Avoid this place at all times. Had me give them my ID and everything. Took 74$ out of my account then tried to tell me I needed to pay 5 more payments before they’ll ship my laptop to me. I am in the process of cancelling my order. This is horrible.

Terrible
Sends me an Canadian TV with out my knowledge.Tv has a issue, Samsung usa won't warranty the tv. Call them up about the issue. There solution is to send me a base model tv in replacement of my premium model. Not fair at all.

MDG offers very good service
MDG offers very good service and is quite fast to complete our order validations. However, UPS offers poor delivery service when it comes to MDG's shipping. I know this is not MDG's fault... but it's sad to see that UPS's packages are in the same warehouse since last friday, mentioning it "left the warehouse" but still no news... oh... and it was supposed to be delivered last friday.

Quick and easy service

Alexander's Customer Service was Impeccable.
I ordered an expensive computer from MDG. I was unclear on a couple of things so I called them and got Alexander on the other line. He was extremely helpful, answered all of my questions and helped me get setup with my plan for financing my new laptop. I'd highly recommend working with Alexander any time you call MDG for anything!

I have ordered several items and they have always been delivered quickly. The staff are wonderful to deal with. It is easy to order additional items after your first purchase as it will be paperless and usually the process is completed within 24-48 hours. A great way to purchase things if you don't have the cash in hand. Will definitely order again and again.

This is my second purchase with MDG and they have been nothing but amazing. For my initial purchase last year (gaming pc for my son) it allowed be to build my credit up enough to finance a SUV. Best company ever.

Worst customer services!
I have only been with MDG for just over a month doing weekly payments and they have the worst customer service no one ever gets back to you! You make payment and they do not have the option to view the payments you have made or how many you have left so you are left wondering the entire time if you are being scammed especially if you have to make a certain amount of payments before they ship your purchase. This company would be so much better if they actually responded to your emails and fixed the profile section so you are able to see your payments and progress of how long until you have your item paid off!

Changed my mind about purchasing a product
I was going to buy a new TV from your company so I didn’t want to use my existing bank account so I was going to open up a new account because I was afraid of fraud activity and MDG said no I couldn’t do that. They said I had to use my old bank account so I said no thank you. I didn’t want to give an online company access to my bank account so I’ll just go to Walmart and buy a new TV. Thank you

New Customer- Disappointed with the process and lack of communication
When I fiest applied, I was immediately contacted by the sales representative to try to finalize the order. I had no intention on proceeding with the due to an exuberant shipping fee. The salesman advised that he would tey to work something out and would be contacting. I did not hear fromhim again. I logged in my account and there was the order showing as pending. I never agreed to processing an order. Well, I decided to give it another shot with a laptop. It has been over a week I have been attempting to finalizing an order. Communication is extremely poor to say the least. My salesperson does not professionally respond to my emails. I have had to call in and speak to other people to get answers. At this time, my order is in limbo and I'm looking elsewhere. This process has been horribly disappointing.

Second time ordering
My first order was a 65’Tv and switch bundle it all went smooth and received in a timely manner. I have made a 2nd order for eco4life smart bundle. It’s all suppose to connect to app we’ll it all does but the power strips and I still haven’t been able to get anyone to fix the issue after writing 3 emails and calling to never get threw.

fantastic company to buy from but for people living out of large towns it is a painfull ordeal you have to sit home the day they say they are coming ,if they get behind you dont see them for god knows how long smal items like lap tops put in mail gets here just as fast , sometimes faster

Never again since they want my bank statement
Now I am changing how I feel. I always make my payment on time. I wanted something else. Now they want me to send pictures of my bank statement and connect them to my bank. I am very much against this sonce I am already set up on auto with them. I dont feel that I should have to show my bank statements. I have NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT. Be careful. When I get a shot i will just pay off.

Computer missing harddrive
Ordered a desktop advertised as having Atleast one terabyte and it came with only 128 gigabyte. Other than that I enjoyed buying through mdg

Did not received package
Got an email that my package was delivered and I that I signed for it. Hahaha! How can that happen when i was at work from 3:15-11:30pm when they delivered 6:15pm. I do believe you will do something about it.

Did not receive my package
I got mail from UPS that my package was delivered today at 6:15 pm and was signed by me. How can that happened when I am at work from 3:15 till 11:30pm. Left at residential, signed by rowena. I asked my sister and cousin who were there the whole time said no one delivered anything. I tried calling UPS but no answer. I am getting worried and impatient, I am a long time costumer please do t make me lose trust in you. I believe you will deal with this immediately.

Never again.
Less than one star if possible. 5 different people lied about delivery dates and when the item would be shipped... they promised a delivery before the long weekend but after checking with UPS they did not even ship the package out until the Wednesday evening after the weekend. Despite promising it would go out no later than Monday after numerous complaints. I will never use them again.

Payments went from 40 to 90
One of my orders had 40 payments remaining and jumped to 90, called in was told it would be fixed as it was incorrect, never did. As-well had a credit available of $738 and it disappeared I make my payments on time and I do extra payments aswell, someone said they would call me back never did!

Constant fees added
I have had this account for over 2 1/2 years on a television that you can now buy for $700 I have paid over $2000 for !! My advice would be to stay as far away from this company as possible , because they take auto drafts from your bank account and yet you still always have extra payments attached to your account , then they send you to collections while they are still taking money out of your account !! So glad to be done with these people !!

I’m a new customer, I kept passing by this company on Facebook, and everytime I kept saying I’m going to try them out! And I am glad I did. I financed my first 75” Samsung tv and I just love it . Customer services sucks- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I writing this review because I have been financing with this company for almost a year now and they have such as customer service. I have asked to change my automatic bank payments to a new bank account a week ago. I work a busy work schedule and don't have time to keep wasting 30 mins to call them. So I asked to for then to switch to my new account over the phone and by email. They did not do so, the payment came out of my old account and because the account won't get closed until this whole world pandemic is over to go in and sign papers. I will be changed a 45 dollar fee with my old bank plus a payment to MGD and it will show on my credit. I have sent them email with new banking information and I have callee this is a joke now. When I spoke to the manager he said their busy so they don't always read their emails, Im sorry but I work for the city and when u work for customers service you should be reading all ur emails. This is a joke now. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY GO TO EASY HOME. This company customer service sucks like I don't have time to keep calling them everyday. I work 6 days a week.

Thieves and liars
I got approved last year in July, money withdrawals started, suddenly stopped, i tried to contact Jeffrey F, no replies no answer the calls, he was my account manager, i cancelled my bank account cause fear of being scammed, i finally got ahold of somebody in FEBRUARY, then i got all kind of excuses, they said my money was back on my account in December, at this point i know they are lying cause account was cancelled in September, i gave them the chance to correct the error but every time i call i received the same answer like an story line, "i will email my finance department and i will get back to you as soon i hear from them" 3 times i heard this, i got a detailed file with names dates and shit so i can file for fraud with RCMP, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEOPLE, having a story line and repiting arguments is organized crime they are doing this to a lot of people.

franchement apres ma 5 ieme commande avec mdg ,je dois dire que j ai toujours eu un excellent service, une seul fois un probleme avec un meuble endommager mais le tout fut regle dans la meme semaine. la qualite des produits est bonne mais pourrais etre mieux. en terminant merci a mdg de votre aide car le credit est important meme si il faut s attendre a payer un petit surplus ,ce qui est normale dans les circonstances.

I don’t care how bad your credit is; DO NOT USE THIS PLACE TO REBUILD YOUR CREDIT! I have a 780 credit score, and they give me a 35+% interest ray?! AND require all my bank info AND require a payment FIRST before they’ll send anything to you?!?!?! Read the reviews; the BAD ones!

A scam at best!!!!!!
These guys tell you that you will be paying a low up front payment, usually its the amount of the bi-weekly payment. Then once they have your "banking" info etc, they send you a form.. #1 Saying it is digitally signed by you (BS) #2 Added a trumped up shipping charge of 299.00 #3 On top of that they add another 49.00 for a scheduled delivery ( mind you, you still have choosen the date etc) Then when you see all of this, and want the account deleted, they say "they can't" yet your info is still on the site.... Until they get my info off the site, I will blast them on every review I can get my hands on, I will also give them poor reviews on my radio station and website. until the day I die. And if I see one charge on my account, (I Have already contacted my bank) I'm coming for them with extreme prejudice. I don't like scam artists at all. Stay away from these ppl.

I have recently became a customer of MDG last 2-3mths and My comments or post are solely based on my personal experience , with that being said as u can see I gave them a 5/5 as they in my experience have really set the highest of standards for their online competitors ,but maybe more importantly in that short period since I became a customer they have managed to change my perception and expectations of online shopping from one of negativity and disappointment to one of positivity and satisfaction Ben it via their very user friendly online application process that is completed In a impressively timely manner, or the personal experience you get from your own representative assigned to your file ...I have receive noting but professional & helpfully assistance form “Steve” when ever needed ...it feels like I could be shooting pool and Having a few beers with the guy he’s that Awsome. Their inventory is a little limited ...that was me trying to find a negative ...lol I highly recommend MGD to my family and friends. Wont buy from them again
Purchased stuff in the fall. Decided to order a laptop. They wanted a deposit. So I scheduled the payment to be taken. Then my payroll got changed. So I called them to change my payments. But they forgot to change the 1 for the laptop, which was discussed. So now 2 NSF charges, and they dont recall the conversation. How ever my regular payment was changed. So I will be taking my business elsewhere. Called a few times, and totally done with them. Keep the NSF charge and loose customers !!!

Never again
I bought a tv 2 years ago. Never missed a payment. Why do I still have 17 payment left . it's a whole scam. I will ending paying $3000. For a danm tv... It's my first and last time financing anything. I called they say it's all interest rates I've paying. I can't wait to be done with this mess .

Missing piece

Took our money, never delivered what we paid for and asks for more money.
Me and my gf were planning on getting a couple thing from here but after paying the initial 60 something to get the items delivered, they decided to Bill us 300$ before we even got what we paid for and won't send it without the 300. Best part, they won't even give the 60 something back we already paid for the stuff we didn't even get in the first place.

This can be requested for various reasons, such as something in the supporting documents or if there missing information from the account that flags the file. This is usually only asked for the first order, and any new ones you place going forward would not have to go through the same security steps. If you decided to not proceed, the refund was posted. It takes 2-3 business days to see the refund in your account. Additionally, we'd be happy to investigate this further, we just need your order ID to locate the account. Good Product...horrible shipping costs.
If you live in Ontario, this does not apply to you. If you live in the west, I can assure you this applies to nearly anything you buy. Seems logistics are not handled Canada wide and I just bought a 600 dollar bed and paid nearly another 600 in fees, taxes and of course, shipping. just the shipping from the Brick alone was 352 dollars plus the inherent 99 dollar fee from MDG. I would purchase way more as my credit would normally allow such but paying too much for shipping has persuaded me to shop local instead. There is more to Canada than just Ontario, MDG. Consider us or lose business. Nobody wants to pay double just because of ease of payments. the west is suffering because of pipeline, rail and forestry disruptions. We will shop where we save the bottom line so plan your logistics accordingly. 29 years of business and you should know that already but my 30 years in supply chain management and retail means nothing to you, the EXPERTS. Want me to buy more? Change your shipping and Distribution Center priorities.

Con artists and a major rip off DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!
Bought a $1700 gaming laptop with a 59 bi weekly payment plan, 2+ years later my amount owed is still over $1200 after all is done after paying off this product I will have spent just short of $4000. And of course you can't just cancel and return the product because the company refuses returns unless it's a manufacturer defect. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

Amazing fast service and fast shipping

Am going to RCMP to file for fraud.
I went to the process i got approved a guy called me to ask me to change the amount of down payment i agreed even i got pulled out a couple payments from my account and then nothing i tried to call them no answer i emailed the guy no reply so i hot ripped for this guys i have to cancel my bank account i kept all my proofs so i can denunce this people to the RCMP for fraud. I will and stay away from them.

Frustrated and disappointed
Approved for $2500. Very exciting. Laptop, vacuum, tv, and play station. When order was to ship my sales rep disappeared some else shows up and says " since my bank account doesn't handle all of my income they aren't going to proceed " I've been ripped off bad before so I don't keep all my eggs in one basket. And you are telling me that you want access to all my income, which I provided proof of. And when I give you our signed agreement you don't respond. Very rude Ivan! And what happened to George, polite, pleasant to talk to and sincere. I was a 5 star customer now, no stars for mdg!

MDG are the worst people to deal with they tell you that you are approved they take days of applying they take all your bank info even your first payment just to tell you days later you are not approved I do not recommend these people to anyone

Skeptical

I have been a customer with MDG now for ten years. I have a 5000 dollar credit limit with them and started off with a 1700 dollar limit. Anything I have ordered has arrived promt and exactly what I ordered. I had one problem with a king-size mattress but it was quickly replaced within a week. Good job mdg

Unprofessional.
I originally had wanted a gaming laptop, but after the deposits of 105 monthly for 3 months decided I wanted another version that was not being offered at the point where I originally decided. I was going through some medical issues at the time and the sales rep called me repeatedly and emailed. I responded to Emails, and stated clearly that I wanted to change order. When this just wasnt happening I said to cancel. I was told the order was cancelled. Feb. 3rd that was, it is now the 14th, I was told 5 to 7 business days, still nothing in my account, I should be getting interest on my deposits since I have not received any goods and MDG finance is using my funds. I would like to know why a refund was not issued within the time frame stated.

Payment problems MDG canada
I email MDG Canada back in Jan telling them l stop payment options on payments Because my pension CHQ was late being deposited. So MDG Canada was paid on 4 the of the month. So Jan payment was made. Today l called they said they charged me 330.00 NSF fees an now Jan payment is not paid but it was paid. Im not paying NSF fees to MDG Canada. They tould me next month two payments bullshit. I can only afford one payment per month. Ask to speak to supervisor they said someone will call today no call If MDG Canada don't play fair l will close my account at Bank an they will get nothing

Crawford Luxury Recliner Sofa
My name is,Danyel Blanchette,and I ordered the sofa on;26 November 19. I got all the paperwork and was told my bank account was to be charged;$27/biweekly,until my deposit was made. Now I call in after the deposit is paid in full. I am told the last three days everything is good and it will be delivered. Then today I am told the order was cancelled due to my husband having an account and we were using the same bank account after they stole my money,biweekly. This is crazy. Nowhere does it state any of that about the bank accounts. I am beyond kissed. How do I get a seperate account,under my name,my social security number,and the money is being paid,just to be screwed in the end? Someone needs to fix all this. Now all my deposit is being refunded and I am out a sofa. I am beyond frustrated. Someone needs to figure this out. I can be contacted tomorrow at 9:30am EST. Just look up my number via my account.

MDG treats their customers well
My experience with MDG has been good overall. On my first order there was a delay, and MDG gave me a free tablet for the inconvenience. My second order came very fast. I am more than satisfied with my tv and my laptop. They seem to consistently exceed my expectations, and I am now thinking of purchasing a cellphone from them.

Approved for high credit line but yet declined??!!
Do not use this site! Was approved for $1900 credit line, sent in proof of my banking history for 3 months and may WAY more than enough to cover a measly $26 biweekly payment for 2 laptops I wanted to purchase. Mind you, I've been with my employer for 15 years and make a very good wage but yet was DECLINED for my purchase!! It was insulting to say the least and I would not suggest doing business with this company. I'll go elsewhere and just buy them outright without high interest rates and lower upfront cost.

Furniture I received labeled luxury is far from it!
I called msg after receiving my furniture and told them I have a concern. I dont think I received the Luxury version of my furniture in which I paid extra for. Asked to talk to a manager which of course, none were available. Called back and they told me I did receive correct order. I told them this is not Luxury furniture, it's hard as a rock! Then they told me they would have a mgr call me within the hour and now it is a day later still no call. I then emailed them and ask for a call. Still no call. This furniture which cost me over 1500 is a piece of crap. Far from luxury and comfortable. Reviews on this furnitue were stating how soft and comfortable. I am convinced that they wrote their own reviews. No way ANYONE could ever say this is comfortable! Its awful. I wish they would let me at least, exchange it for something else but I cant get a manager to even call me back! I purchased the Crawford 3 piece "Luxury" set. Do not buy this. You may as well sit on a hard floor!

Best decision I ever made!
This is my second time purchasing thru MDG. Both of my orders has been hassle free. My first order I did receive a broken TV but called same day and spoke with customer service and they fixed the issue right away and sent a replacement right away. The shipping was fast on all my merchandise which I had purchased 4 different items a sofa, laptop, TV and a playstation 4. I don't have any regret purchasing thru MDG. I am actually very thankful for MDG. I hit hard times the last few years and my credit went down hill and MDG approved me. I had an empty living room for many months and rent to own places are high monthly payments, at MDG I was able to get all 4 items for the same price monthly as just a sofa at a rent to own place. Thank you so much everyone at MDG for helping me.
